For applicants enrolling in an approved Thai cultural or wellness programme.
Most commonly a Thai cooking course or Muay Thai training at a registered gym. A 5-year, multiple-entry visa allowing stays of up to 180 days per entry, extendable once.
Requirements
- Aged 20 or above, with a clean Thai immigration record
- 500,000 THB (approximately USD 15,000), held in a personal savings or current account for at least 3 consecutive months prior to application
- Enrolment in an approved programme, generally running 6 months or longer
- A letter of acceptance from the training institute or gym
- Application must be submitted while outside Thailand
Cryptocurrency holdings and investment-account statements are not accepted as proof of funds.
